Organization

Leading a senior management team of eighteen is Laboratory Director John J. Grossenbacher, a Vice Admiral, U.S. Navy (ret.), a Naval Academy graduate and one of the nation's most respected leaders. At the time of his retirement from the Navy, Mr. Grossenbacher commanded all United States submarine forces. - more -

Safety

The U.S. Department of Energy recertified Idaho National Laboratory as a DOE-Voluntary Protection Program Star (VPP) site in June 2006. - more -
