From 2007-2010, the 3-D Transport computational theme will support the following activities:
- Development of integrated hierarchies of transport models for multirepresentational modeling of multiscale physics
- Development and implementation of novel numerical transport algorithms suitable for existing and novel reactor systems and the unique problems they present
- Development of various methods to visualize calculations (3-D imaging, time-dependent imaging, full color imaging) in order to aid in analysis, comprehension, and presentation of 3-D transport calculations
- Maintain and continue to develop a vigorous subsurface transport modeling capability to support the Microbiological and Geological Systems Signature and its role in energy security activities.
