A number of community activities are sponsored by the INL to help people understand more about our work. For over a half-century the INL has put science to work, addressing some of the nation's most pressing environmental, energy, and nuclear technology challenges. This heritage of service is building a reputation for Idaho and the INL as the home of science and engineering solutions. Given the INL's rising national prominence as a science and research center there is genuine interest by many people to learn more about the research and operations work performed at the Laboratory. We invite you to learn more about the INL through the following opportunities.
INL Volunteer Programs
Our employees and their families are part of the fabric of eastern Idaho. The INL's diverse workforce, community economic development programs, educational outreach and economic impact, both locally and statewide, are a welcome part of everyday living for many communities.
