Advanced Spectral Image Processing and Analysis

The INL GeoSE team is developing state-of-the-art hyperspectral and multispectral data analysis techniques including feature extraction, change detection, scientific visualization, predictive modeling, pattern recognition, and expert system classification to address a wide range of environmental management issues.

MapWindow - Extensible GIS

The MapWindow is an extensible, GIS-based tool set developed in conjunction with Utah State University to provide geospatial and temporal data visualization and analysis in a license-free, distributable application. With this tool we can develop custom stand-alone GIS applications that can be distrubuted via CD or as plug-ins to other common desktop software.
