The Idaho National Laboratory Mentor–Protégé Program is a Department of Energy (DOE) initiative and is designed to assist energy related firms in an effort to enhance their capability to perform contracts and subcontracts for the Idaho National Laboratory managed by Battelle Energy Alliance, LLC and other DOE Laboratories and Facilities. Companies eligible to participate in the program include:
- Small Disadvantaged Businesses
- 8(a)–Certified Small Businesses
- Women–Owned Businesses
- Veteran–Owned Small Businesses
- Service–Disable Veteran–Owned Small Businesses
