2003 RELAP5 International Users Seminar
West Yellowstone Meeting

The 2003 RELAP5 International Users Seminar was held at the Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort in West Yellowstone, MT, August 27-29. Forty people attended, including U.S. residents from industry, other DOE labs, nuclear vendors, consulting companies, and universities. Foreign attendees included people from Sweden, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Taiwan.

The three "founding fathers" of RELAP5, Vic Ransom, John Trapp, and Dick Wagner, were honored at a 25th Anniversary celebratory dinner on Wednesday evening. These three visionaries began work on the code in the mid 1970's and released the first version in 1978.
