Current Projects

  • Developing a multiphase flow model of the chemically reacting, churn turbulent flow within a slurry bubble column reactor used in the production of synthetic fuels via the Fischer Tropsch process
  • Apply computational fluid dynamics methodology to analyze turbulent, multiphase flows for engineering applications, such as advanced-concept nuclear reactors and synthetic fuel production facilities
  • Provide thermal fluids analysis for irradiation experiments conducted in INL's Advanced Test Reactor
