Radiation-Based Inspection

Radiation-based inspection provides an ability to non-intrusively examine objects that may contain hazardous materials, derive material structural properties on a large scale (microns to meters), and monitor evolving processes in real time.

Radiation-based inspection includes X-ray imaging, induced emission inspection and algorithm development. The key capabilities include digital radiography, 2-D computed tomography, 3-D computed tomography, film radiography, nuclear magnetic resonance, image reconstruction, image processing, image display, and field deployable inspection systems.
