K-12 STEM Grants
Idaho National Laboratory values education and has a desire to provide grants and in-kind support to educators in their quest to inspire a passion for science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) topics. Our primary areas of support focus on:
- Statewide Mini Grants
- Southeast Idaho Extreme Classroom Makeover Grants
- East Idaho Ultimate STEM Grants
- Informal STEM Experiences
- STEM Outreach
- Teacher Professional Development in STEM Areas
- INL Team STEMazing
INL supports STEM education and career awareness because it is critical to cultivating tomorrow’s scientists, engineers, and technicians. That’s why we partner with educators, school leaders, STEM stakeholders, business and industry to provide opportunities and tools designed to excite students about STEM using hands-on, real-world applications. In addition to grant money, INL provides STEM classroom presentations, workshops, teacher professional development, student/teacher outreach and much more.
